1 - TERMS FOR ALL BOOKINGS

- When you book services with Makeup by Aly J you agree to these Terms & Conditions listed below.
- Our services include Event makeup, Bridal Makeup, Creative Makeup and Commercial Makeup
- Bookings are not confirmed until a retainer has been received and we have sent you written confirmation with details, this will be via email 

- Quotes are valid for 14 days 
- Payments will be invoiced and paid via Square

2 - Retainers & Service payments

- A 50% retainer fee is required to secure any booking with Makeup by Aly J, this is calculated as 50% of your full service fee 

- Your retainer fee is both your booking fee and cancellation fee and is non-refundable 

- Remaining Bridal service fees must be paid in full 21 days before the wedding date 

- Remaining service fees for Event and Creative makeup must be paid in full 7 days before the date of service

​3 - BRIDAL

TRAVEL

- Travel fees will be quoted per service 
- For the health and safety of the artist,  a travel time of 2+ hours will also require an accomodation fee to be paid for the night before

- This accomodation fee is to be paid for by the client in addition to the travel fee*
- Whilst we will try to keep costs low, accomadation fees will vary and is dependant on accomodation available in the area

- The artist may arrive 15 minutes prior or after schedueled times due to other circumstances or unexpected travel issues - clients will be notified where possible. 

​BRIDAL RETAINER FEE & CANCELLATIONS

- Quotes are valid for 14 days 

- A 50% non-refundable retainer fee is required to book your wedding day makeup with the remaining to be paid 21 days prior to the wedding date.

- Please note your wedding date is not secured until the retainer has been paid.

- Services cancelled within 14 days of the wedding are charged in full. This covers the makeup artist for time spent on administrative duties and for the innability to book another client for that day 
- If the number of services are reduced after confirmation, the original quote may still apply

TRIALS

- Trial service fees will be charged seperately, this fee does not come off the total wedding balance ​

EARLY HOURS FEE

- An early fee of $50 per 30 minutes will be applied to starting times prior to 7am​​

ADDITIONAL FEES 

- Additional fees will apply for any parking and tolls along with potential extra early hour fees and extra travel fees 

 

​4 -CANCELLATIONS AND RESCHEDULING

- All 50% Retainers are non - refundable and will be forfeited if the client cancels or No - Shows. This is regardless of any timeframes 

- As stated above, bridal services that are cancelled within 14 days of the wedding require full payment of all services booked

- Cancellations of event or creative makeup within 48 Hours of the scheduled service requires full fee paid. A new fee will then be required to book another appointment 

- If a client no shows to their appointment this is counted as a cancellation and full payment of the service will be required 

- If a client cancels their appointment (includes Event and Creative makeup only) prior to the 48 hour mark, the 50% retainer fee may be transfered ONCE to a new date within six months of the original date 

- Bridal 50% retainer fees are non-transferable ​

5 - SOCIAL MEDIA AND PHOTOS/VIDEOS DURING SERVICES

- Makeup by Aly J will take photos and videos during services for the use of social media content, Website content and for their portfolio. 
- If you do not consent to photos and videos from your service being taken and posted please notify in writing before your appointment.

6 - HEALTH AND SAFETY DURING SERVICES

- Clients are required to disclose any allergies and sensitivities before to their appointment 

- Clients and additional parties are not allowed to touch or take products and equiptment that the artist brings. This is to ensure that proper sanitisation of the kit is upheld.

- Makeup by Aly J has the right to refuse a service if the client shows with a contagious illness or condition

7 - LIABILITY 

- Makeup By Aly J is not liable for any reactions the client has if they did not disclose their allergies or sensitivities 

- Whilst we try our hardest to create exactly what you are wanting  during your service, please note results can vary due to individuals skin types and conditions

8 - PRIVACY 

- Personal information is collected for booking purposes 

- Your infomration will not be shared with third parties unless required by law

BY BOOKING WITH MAKEUP BY ALY J YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
